PaperPath Membership Terms
Effective date: May 23, 2026
1. Membership Access
- An active membership and available credits are required for AI-powered writing, revision, citation, and research workflows.
- Membership duration, included credits, price, and plan names are shown on the pricing and billing pages at purchase time.
- When membership expires, AI access pauses. Extra credits may remain until their own expiry date but still require an active membership to use.
2. Credits
- Member credits are included with a membership and usually expire at the end of that membership period.
- Extra credits are purchased separately and may remain across membership periods, subject to their own validity window.
- Different AI modes, input lengths, output lengths, and workflow types may consume different credit amounts.
- Failed AI calls may be refunded automatically according to system records.
3. AI Modes
- Standard mode consumes credits at 1x and fits outlines, summaries, polishing, and routine section work.
- Turbo mode consumes credits at 2x and fits complex reasoning, long-form drafting, intensive revision, and higher-quality academic expression tasks.
- The product may show mode names rather than internal model providers or model IDs.
4. Payment And Refunds
- Payments may be processed by Stripe or another displayed payment provider depending on deployment region and configuration.
- Memberships and credits are digital service rights. Once activated or used, refunds are limited unless required by law or caused by platform failure.
- If payment is duplicated, not credited, or otherwise abnormal, users should contact support with the order information.
5. Changes
- PaperPath may adjust model providers, credit multipliers, plan benefits, prices, and usage rules as provider costs, compliance needs, or product strategy change.
- Users who abuse credits, referral rewards, payments, accounts, or service access may lose membership benefits or account access.
If the billing page and these terms differ, the purchase-time billing page and order record control for that transaction.
